Luisa’s application email:
"A very good day, afternoon, or evening, whatever the time it may be when this email is being read, wishing that God pours out his infinite blessings in the life of the reader of this message.
The reason for this letter is to extend my wish to obtain a scholarship to continue studying at the university, a goal that a few years ago seemed very distant to me, but knowing that there was a possibility to continue studying through this scholarship gave me new hope to not let my dream die.
Having graduated from high school is something that truly makes me very happy and of course very grateful, not only to God, but also to all the people who supported me throughout this process, not only during these three years of study, but since the first time I stepped into a classroom, although that was a long time ago.
I also thank my sponsor from Niñez con Futuro Association [ANIFU], and of course the Association itself, for having placed their trust in me and having propelled my dream, thank you because they trusted that I would move forward and with every step I took as my education was forming, without a doubt that support served as a source of encouragement in my daily life, showing that when one has determination and the right people by their side, dreams are formed and achieved thanks to perseverance, responsibility, and above all with faith in God.
I come from a humble family, my parents do not have enough resources, we try to cover our daily expenses, but starting to pay for university is truly something that perhaps right now we see as very big. With my parents I have lacked nothing, I am very happy in the home where God placed me. My parents and my brother, are my greatest engine in this life, seeing them happy is everything for me.
My dad has taught me from a young age to be grateful and humble before everyone, my mom always motivates me to move forward and to fight for my dreams, [because] at some point in life they could not fulfill theirs. My parents have always supported me and trusted in me, and I know that they would also be very happy and proud if I could apply for the scholarship. My dream apart from having a university degree is also to be able to give back a little to my parents for so much that they have given and done for me.
Obtaining this scholarship means a lot to me, I hope to meet all the requirements that are requested of me, I also want to highlight that I am still not of legal age, I would like to be guided according to the requirements that are asked, such as the DPI and bank account, since because of my age I still cannot present certain documents. I also understand that I will receive a form to complete my application, I await a response to this email, and from now on, thank you very much for having read this message.
A hug and blessings."
